Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 28, 2026

This policy explains what personal information Sherbi Stone collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It applies to sherbistone.com, to our showroom and distribution center at 2323 Crown Rd #150, Dallas, TX 75229, and to the phone, email and text message conversations we have with you about our products.

Who we are

Sherbi Stone is a wholesale supplier of quartz slabs, cabinets and sinks based in Dallas, Texas. Our messaging program is operated under the name Mo Sherbi. You can reach us at:

Sherbi Stone is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us

We collect the information you choose to send us, which normally means the fields on a form or the details of a conversation. That includes:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your company name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Anything you write in a comments or message field, including details about your project
  • Whether you checked the box consenting to receive text messages

You do not have to give us any of this. If you leave a field blank we simply have less to work with when we reply.

Information we collect automatically

When you use our website, our own software records a small amount of technical and behavioral information so that we can understand how people find us and what they are shopping for. This includes:

  • The pages and slab or product listings you view, and the order you viewed them in
  • Which forms you started and which you submitted
  • The page you were on when you contacted us
  • The website or advertisement that referred you to us, and the landing page you arrived on
  • Campaign parameters in the link you clicked, such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term and utm_content
  • Advertising click identifiers passed by ad platforms, such as gclid, fbclid and msclkid
  • Your IP address and browser user agent at the moment you submit a form
  • The date and time of each of these events

A randomly generated session identifier ties these events together for the length of your visit. It is not linked to your name or email unless you submit a form, at which point the record of your visit is attached to that inquiry so we can see what you were looking at.

Information from other sources

If you contact us through a third-party platform such as an advertising form, a marketplace listing or a review site, we may receive the contact details you provided there. We may also receive delivery and engagement information from the services that send our email and text messages, such as whether a message was delivered or whether you replied STOP.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website stores a small number of items in your browser. We use them to attribute inquiries to the source that produced them, not to build a profile of you across other websites.

  • First touch cookies, named with an ss_ft_ prefix, record the campaign details, landing page and referrer of your first visit. They are written once and are not overwritten. They expire after 400 days.
  • Last touch cookies, named with an ss_lt_ prefix, record the campaign details of your most recent visit that arrived from a campaign link. They expire after 90 days.
  • A session identifier and your page journey are held in your browser’s session storage for the current tab only. They are cleared when you close the tab.

You can delete or block these at any time in your browser settings. The website will continue to work normally.

Analytics and embedded content

Website analytics and session recording

We partner with Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay in order to improve our products and services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products and services and online activity. We also use this information for site optimization and for fraud and security purposes. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

We mention session recording specifically because it is the piece most policies leave out. Clarity records how visitors move through pages, including mouse movement, scrolling, clicks, and which pages are visited in what order, and assembles that into session replays and heatmaps.

Google Analytics and Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager to manage the measurement tools on this site, and Google Analytics to understand how people find us and which pages are useful. These collect information such as the pages you visit, how long you spend on them, how you arrived at the site, and your approximate location, browser, and device type. We use this to understand the site’s performance in aggregate, not to identify you personally.

Our Tag Manager container also holds Google advertising tags, which are covered in the Targeted advertising section below.

You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using the browser add-on Google provides at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google’s handling of this data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

Embedded content

  • Customer reviews. Our reviews are displayed through Trustindex, which pulls the review text and reviewer profile photos from Google.
  • Maps. Our contact page includes an embedded Google Map.

Embedded content from another website behaves as though you had visited that website directly. Those companies may collect data about you, set their own cookies, and track your interaction with the embedded content, including linking it to an account if you are logged in with them.

How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • Answer your question and prepare a quote
  • Confirm slab availability and arrange a showroom visit, pickup or delivery
  • Process and fulfill an order, and handle billing for it
  • Send you the text messages you asked for, if you opted in
  • Keep a record of our correspondence with you
  • Understand which marketing and referral sources bring us genuine inquiries
  • Improve our website, our inventory listings and our service
  • Detect and block spam and fraudulent submissions
  • Meet our legal, tax and recordkeeping obligations

Text messages

Our text messaging program is separate from the rest of this policy and is entirely optional. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of buying anything from us.

  • You join by checking the opt-in box on a form or by texting us directly. We send a confirmation message when you join.
  • Messages are recurring automated marketing and informational messages, sent roughly twice a week. Frequency may vary.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Reply STOP at any time to leave the program. We will send one confirmation message and then stop. Reply HELP, or email mo@sherbistone.com, for assistance.
  • We keep a record of your consent and of your opt-out, because federal and Texas rules require us to be able to show it.
  • Before you change or transfer your mobile number, reply STOP from the original number or tell us at mo@sherbistone.com.

Phone numbers collected for text messaging are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. We share them only with the messaging provider that delivers the messages on our behalf.

When we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it. We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers who work on our behalf and are only permitted to use the information to do that work, including our website host, our email provider, our text messaging provider, our payment processor, and our freight and delivery partners
  • Fabricators, installers or contractors, where you have asked us to coordinate with them on your project
  • Professional advisors such as our accountants and attorneys
  • Government authorities, when the law requires it or when we need to establish or defend a legal claim
  • A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred

Targeted advertising

We may use advertising platforms to show our products to people who have visited our website. If you prefer not to see advertising based on your activity, you can opt out using the controls your browser or the advertising platform provides, or by contacting us using the details at the end of this policy. We will honor that request.

How long we keep information

  • Inquiries and quote requests are kept for as long as the relationship is active, and afterward for as long as we need them for business, tax or legal reasons.
  • Website activity records are automatically deleted 400 days after they are recorded.
  • Attribution cookies expire on their own, after 400 days for first touch and 90 days for last touch.
  • Records of text message consent and opt-out are kept for as long as the rules require us to be able to produce them.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See your rights below.

How we protect information

Our website is served over an encrypted connection. Access to inquiry records is limited to Sherbi Stone staff who need it to do their job, and is protected by individual accounts and passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take these obligations seriously and review them as our systems change.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, and in particular if you are a Texas resident under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, you may have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we are processing your personal data, and get a copy of it
  • Correct inaccuracies in the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you
  • Obtain a copy of your data in a portable format, where it was provided to us electronically
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling that produces a legal or similarly significant effect

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for that kind of profiling, but the right to ask is yours regardless.

How to make a request

Email mo@sherbistone.com or call 214-730-0355 and tell us what you would like us to do. We may need to ask for enough information to confirm who you are, so that we do not disclose or delete someone else’s records by mistake. We will respond within 45 days, and we may extend that once by another 45 days if the request is complex, in which case we will tell you why.

If we decline your request

If we decline, we will tell you why and explain how to appeal. To appeal, reply to that decision or write to mo@sherbistone.com with the word “Appeal” in the subject line. We will review the appeal and respond in writing within 60 days. If we deny the appeal, we will give you a method to contact the Texas Attorney General to submit a complaint.

Children’s privacy

Our website and our products are intended for businesses and for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will delete it.

Other websites

Our site links to manufacturers, suppliers, mapping services and social platforms that we do not control. This policy does not cover them. Read their privacy policies before giving them your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or our tools change. The effective date at the top shows when the current version took effect. Changes take effect when they are posted here, so it is worth checking this page from time to time.
